You might wonder what is that huge carving that is visible from a distance or might think that’s a kind of mining at road side in Boljoon.. well that’s the ELI Rock Viewdeck. Local folks were hesitant at first and this scenic top view raises controversies.. the rest is history.
Foot of the hill
You can dis-embarked here if you’re commuting publicly like the Ceres Bus Lines or you can park on the foot of hill if you’re on a private ride.
Two hundred steps plus
We’ve started to count as we climb.. but forgot in the middle. Who would want to go back and count again? Lol! It’s a good hill climb exercise by the way and it’s not a race going to the top. You can of course stop as you pleased and catch your breath. It’s fun! It’s not also that tiring when you reached the top.
Overlooking view of Boljoon
Upon reaching the top is beautiful scenic view of the ocean and the most part of the Boljoon town proper including the Boljoon Church and the musem (which will be our next stop). There’s not much on the top at the moment, looks like development still on it’s way however it is not actively developed. There’s no vendors on the top, bring your own water and towel.
