Minglanilla is the town right next to Talisay going south from Cebu City. About 15 kilometers away and around 30 minutes ride. Minglanilla have many hidden gems even though just near the city. Perfect for quick get away. The famous Tubod Flowing Water Resort, Camp 7 Reforestation and of course the newest Anjo World  among few.

The Origin of the name “Minglanilla”

Buat was the former name of Minglanilla. It was the place where early settlers dried (buwad/buat) their sea catches. Cebuano term for dried fish. In 1858, it was renamed by Fr. Sanchez after a municipality called Minglanilla taken from obscure place in Spain.
