Travel in Style with GCash

First of all, we are not affiliated with GCash in any sort of, just plain user who is amazed by it’s convenience and portability. We use GCash frequently like almost everyday and especially during travels – Travel in style with GCash. 🙂

What is GCash

GCash is a Globe telecom initiated mobile service that lets you buy load, purchase items, send and receive money, pay bills, and more just through your mobile phones.
It is like a virtual wallet for cashless purchases and online purchases or better say a debit card. Many establishments already accept GCash, that’s why it’s far convenient for us. You can transact it physically as well, just scan the merchant barcode and instantly pay for the merchandise or their services.

How to Get Gcash via USSD Menu

It’s so easy to get you started using your GCash. Simply follow these steps:
Step 1: Dial *143# for FREE using your Globe mobile or download the GCash mobile app
Step 2: Look for “GCash”
Step 3: Click “Register”
Step 4: Enter the following information to complete your registration
-4-digit GCash PIN
-Year of birth
-Address
-First Name
-Last Name
-Age (optional)
Step 5: Once done, wait for the confirmation message that will be sent to your Globe phone.

Get it via the GCash App

Registration via app is more simple, we recommend to use the app instead. Get the app from Google Play here.
Registration is done through one-time process. After downloading the app, enter your mobile number in the landing page then click next to proceed. Click “Register” once you get the prompt message. Fill in your mandatory information in the next pages to complete your registration. You will also be asked to nominate a 4-digit MPIN that you will use to confirm your GCash transactions. There is a referral box and this is totally optional, if you put in AWO6CT, after your first cash-in, some amount goes to us, good for a light one time snack-thank you!!

Note: Your GCash mobile number must be the activated SIM in your phone to ensure a successful App registration.

Fund your GCash Wallet

Before doing any transaction, you have to fund first you Gcash wallet. Aside from going to Globe stores, Gcash loading partners are now growing, to name few, 7-Eleven, Palawan Express / Tambunting, Cebuana Luiller, Pure Gold and banks like BPI. Updated list can be seen in the app as well.

The Fun Part

You can now start any transactions, like what already mentioned above like loading to prepaid number, paying bills, transfer to another wallet, book hotels and airline and more. No need for elaboration because everything is in the app.
